LAND EAST AND WEST OF MIDLAND ROAD, ELLISTOWN

PUBLIC CONSULTATION

This website presents Richborough’s emerging proposals for two sustainably located sites for development in Ellistown. An outline application for up to 75 dwellings is being prepared for the Land West of Midland Road and an outline application for around 29,160sqm of industry/smaller scale warehousing (Use Classes B2/B8) is being prepared for the Land East of Midland Road. Both sites have been identified as potential allocations in North West Leicestershire District Council’s Draft Local Plan. Please view our plans via the ‘Proposals’ tab above.

This consultation is being held to share our current proposals for these sites, and to obtain feedback to inform the scheme as it evolves. Richborough would welcome your thoughts and suggestions as we shape our proposals.

Richborough was founded in 2003 and is one of the UK’s most successful specialist land promotion businesses. Richborough supplies the commercial and housebuilding industries with consented land to accelerate the delivery of new homes and jobs.

Working in partnership with private and public sector landowners, estates, charities, trusts, dioceses and local stakeholders, Richborough promotes land via the planning system for residential, commercial and mixed-use development. Focusing heavily on placemaking, local communities and how development can complement and enhance existing infrastructure. The Richborough land promotion model incentivises all parties to ensure that new homes and jobs will be delivered at the earliest opportunity.

Richborough understand that residents will be keen to understand the proposals in more detail. This website and its content have been designed with that in mind and aim to explain the nature of the proposals and their unique benefits in providing a comprehensive response to meeting the housing, commercial and infrastructure needs of the village and wider District into the future.
